We had 33 Plainfield East High School student athletes from the Bengal Athletic Leadership Council (BALC) take the time to read to our students during the day on Wednesday.

Nineteen John F. Kennedy Middle School students spent quality time with Eichelberger Elementary School students this week.
As part of a new initiative, the middle schoolers spent their lunch period eating with kindergarten and first grade students.
They also helped at recess and played games.
The day was so successful, the peer buddies program will become a weekly occurrence between the two schools.
Enjoy a happy meal today with breakfast for lunch! Get your sweet on with French toast and turkey sausage!
