Plainfield Fest is right around the corner!
This year’s celebration will include a special opportunity for children and individuals with special needs to enjoy the carnival before the crowds arrive.
On Friday, July 17, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m., the carnival will offer a sensory-friendly hour with slower ride speeds, no flashing lights and quieter surroundings to help create a more comfortable experience for everyone.
Admission to Plainfield Fest during this special hour is free for participating individuals with special needs and their parents/guardians (ride tickets are required).
This year’s Plainfield Fest runs July 17-19.

More than 175 people attended as students showcased influential figures they researched through essays, presentation boards, and live character portrayals.
Students dressed as their chosen historical figures, held a pose, and came to life by sharing their essays with visitors throughout the museum.
